- This is the only season to star Fredric Forrest as Captain Richard Jenko. He left midway during Season 1 and is replaced by Steven Williams who portrays Captain Adam Fuller at the start of episode 7.
- First season to air on Sunday nights at 7PM to 8PM.
- Jeff Yagher originally portrays Tom Hanson in the pilot episode but was replaced after filming. His scenes were reshot with Johnny Depp.
